The Legends at Sparks Marina this week welcomes one of its most highly-anticipated tenants, retailer Forever 21. Known for offering a wide selection of all the most current and trend-setting styles for both men and women at a great value to customers, Forever 21 is one of the largest stores at The Legends, spanning almost 27,000 square feet along the east edge of the new development. The store opens its first northern Nevada location Saturday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. Shoppers are greeted with an exciting atmosphere and the first 200 customers in line receive a free gift card.

The Legends at Sparks Marina prepares to celebrate the Fourth of July in true Americana style this year during the 10th annual Star Spangled Sparks event. The area’s newest attraction, which opened its doors just days ago, has partnered with the Sparks Chamber of Commerce, Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and John Ascuaga’s Nugget to coordinate the day’s events and provide shuttle service between The Legends, Sparks Marina and Victorian Square. July Fourth activities begin at 6 a.m. at Sparks Marina with shuttle service beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until midnight. A full slate of free activities and entertainment also takes place throughout The Legends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

RED Development, developers of The Legends at Sparks Marina, today announced new economic impact figures for its $1.2 billion project currently under construction along Interstate 80 at Sparks Boulevard. The findings indicate that upon completion, the destination development will create 4,400 jobs per year with an annual economic impact of $415 million per year for 20 years, or $8.3 billion. Determined by Meridian Business Advisors together with the University of Nevada, Reno Center for Regional Studies, The Legends at Sparks Marina also will generate 7,600 jobs over the six-year construction period with an economic output of $789 million.
